We bought these Mocke reflective stickers for our fleet of skis that we use to train youth on the ocean. Sometimes we are out past sunset. Primarily for Safety. They are highly reflective, very easy to adhere to the deck of a ski….and they actually look really good with our Epic Skis (red, black, white colors).
I am a retired Army Helicopter Pilot, and now fly corporate as a civilian retiree. I wanted to test the reflectivity of the stickers, so I had some crews go out for an early evening paddle, while I took an aircraft up.
These days, almost all helicopter crews that fly in “all weather” or are involved in search and rescue fly “Aided”, what that means, we fly with NVGs or “Night Vision Goggles”.
We tried a full moon night with about 95% illumination…..and another night, no moon with 0% illumination.
The Sticker was very easy to see in the high illumination….but I was surprised how bright it was under a 0% illumination night. Even with no moon, the NVG’s use existing “star light” which amplifies ambient light between 35k-50k times.
The sticker was as bright as the chem light that was on the ski. Remarkable.
It’s a legit reflective safety sticker, adheres well…..and it looks good.
We highly recommend them.
